What this covers
This page describes how we handle information about people who contact us about roofing work in Barrington, New Jersey and the surrounding boroughs. It applies to this website and to the calls that come from it.
There is no form on this site, no newsletter and no account to create. The only way to reach us is the telephone number shown on every page, so almost everything below concerns what happens on a call.
What we collect
When you call, we take your name, your telephone number and the address of the property so we can find it and come out. If you describe the problem we note that too, because it decides what we bring.
At an inspection we photograph and measure the roof, and we keep those photographs together with the itemised estimate produced from them. Where work goes ahead and the roofing is registered with its maker, that registration carries your name and the property address to the manufacturer.
Why we hold it
To do the thing you asked for: answer the question, arrange and carry out a visit, prepare the estimate, do the work, file the manufacturer registration and come back if anything needs attention afterwards.
Photographs and measurements of a roof we have worked on are kept so that a later question about that roof can be answered against what was actually there.
Who sees it
The crew working on your property, and nobody else as a matter of routine. Where a job requires it, details go to a supplier delivering to the address, a container or equipment provider, the manufacturer when the roofing is registered, and the borough when a permit application is made. Where you are making an insurance claim, we send the documentation to whoever you tell us to send it to.
We do not sell, rent or trade information about you, and we do not pass your number to anybody for marketing.
This website
The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Links to other sites are occasionally included. Once you follow one, that site's own practices apply rather than ours.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are cleared out once they are plainly stale. Records of work carried out, including photographs, estimates and invoices, are kept for as long as we may need to stand behind that work or are required to keep a record — for instance where it relates to a manufacturer registration.
Your choices
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep a record. Call the number on this site. You may also ask us to stop contacting you, and we will.
